Tuesday, December 21, at 7:00 p.m.
Blue Christmas is a quiet and contemplative worship gathering for people who have had a difficult and painful year. This evening worship service is more like Ash Wednesday or Maundy Thursday than what we have on Sunday mornings. Blue Christmas is a time of music, prayer, silence, poetry, singing, scripture, and candle lighting. Tuesday, December 21st the longest night of the year, a reminder that the days will be getting brighter from here on out. Blue Christmas is a witness to the hinge moment between Advent’s longing, and the Good News that Christ is about to be born anew once again.
