Themes in Thirty: “Trust Everyone, but Cut the Cards”: Sunday, March 10th, following Worship
“Themes in Thirty” refers to topics of faith and spirituality that we will be chatting about for thirty minutes. No prep time needed. The theme for the next group will be “Trust.” Trust is essential for building healthy relationships, as it allows us to feel safe, secure, and supported. But, if we have been hurt in the past, we may struggle to trust others in the present. Is professed faith in the good intentions of others while always protecting ourselves (i.e., cutting the cards) an obstacle to trust or common sense? In thirty minutes, we’ll talk about issues of trust, trust issues, and ways to build trust – in ourselves and others. Grab something to eat and/or drink at coffee hour and meet us in the Parlor!
