Music Ministry

Adult Voice Choir

It is a beautiful thing, sharing music and faith together, and ultimately ours is the joy of realizing together harmony that cannot be made alone. Ours is the honor of humbly laying down a path of hymnody for a worshipping congregation, the awesome wonder of ministering to God’s people in word and song; ultimately discovering in this entire process the richness of our individual faiths and jointly realizing in some small part the richness of God’s grace through the gift of music.

We welcome those who love singing a variety of choral music. There is an emphasis on fellowship and growing together both musically and in our faith. This choir is made up of singers from ninth grade and above, rehearses weekly on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. and sings in worship on most Sundays. UCC Faith Ringers – Handbell Choir

Our Handbell Choir, The Faith Ringers, consists of 11-15 people ranging in age and musical ability. The choir rings 10-12 times during worship throughout the year, as well as ringing for other local churches, various community events and attending area workshops/festivals when available. We rehearse on Monday nights from 7:00 until 9:00 in the Sanctuary. No prior musical experience is necessary to ring handbells, but a good sense of rhythm, and the desire to have fun are essential. New ringers are always welcome!
